vices.

everybody has them. some are bad and we need to rid ourselves of them. some are fine in moderation. some embarrassing. like my current one. the bachelorette. hooked. my mom, who is so un-religious and non judgemental all of a sudden becomes a staunch, non tolerant quaker and lectures me about how she cannot believe my love for the bachelorette. but what can I say, I'm human. . I will also admit, I have been known to watch the bachelor as well but I really prefer the bachelorette. Something about 25 guys fighting for one girl seems more right to me. Most of the guys did not impress me from the get go but there are a few I like. My top pick- Jason the dad. Maybe it is because I am a parent and "get" him and when he told Deanna his favorite part of his life with his son was being able to put him to bed at night, marry him girl is all I got to say. A far second for me is Graham, just cause he is cute and laid back and a bit mysterious. Lastly, I like Brian the big football coach. James does not love this show, really thinks the girls are so dramatic and needy but I will tell on him and let you know that he is watching with me. At the end of every episode though I am so thankful to not be in the dating scene anymore and so thankful I got me a man.

From the single women of the world, Thanks a bunch A - we're having the time of our life out here in the scene.

for real though, great post, and I can't wait until the next time I see James.

at least it's not 'the flavor of love'--there could be worse things.

We're hooked on MONK! How goofy is that! It's the show about the Obsessive Compulsive detective. He solves murders everyweek while exhibiting his quirky ocd behavior. It's the perfect mix of intrigue and humor. He always ends the show solving the mystery, by saying..."Here's what happened,...."

Love it too! I don't watch it at home, but we have been slow enough lately at work that we have been able to catch it on the internet each week. (luxury of working night shift). Those are some of my favorites too. Some of those dates made me cringe...reminding me of far too many awkward and uncomfortable dates from high school. Praise the Lord those days are over!!
Would you mind telling Robyn I said hey and that I would LOVE to be able to see her blog and see precious picks of her baby!

i love to watch it, too... its kind of embarrassing, but i finally gave up grey's anatomy, and i feel like this is a slight step up... one meaningless show at a time! ps - i finally watched the 7th season of the gilmore girls (in 4 days) and cried all the way through. i keep hoping to catch rory gilmore on obama's campaign trail, but it hasn't happened yet. love you.

I proudly watch both shows, always have and probably always will . . . however, I too prefer the bachelorette version! This season is excellent, but my favorite guy she already eliminated. Also, on another subject . . . could your child be cuter? He is so stinkin cute and those pictures of him eating watermelon in his pool kill me! See you next week!
