Just wanted to update all of my blogging friends that James was offered a job yesterday. We are so thrilled and thankful. It was at the top of the list of jobs that he has been interviewing for which is very exciting. And just in the nic-o-time- he starts Monday March 9th, 3 days before baby Graham arrives. It has been a challenging two months but we are grateful for God who always makes a way. "Let us return to the Lord, though he has torn us to pieces, he will heal us." We have felt the tearing and the healing of the Lord in this trial. There have been precious gifts in the middle of it too...James getting so much time with Keller before Graham comes and seeing God provide for us in miraculous ways through the body of Christ. We will keep you posted!

bad blogger, good mommy.
Goodness gracious what a naughty blogger I have been. Not sure what to blame it on because it has not been for lack of things going on. Here is a brief update.
I had an awesome shower about two weeks ago and it was by far my favorite shower I have ever had. We painted Graham's room and I will post pictures as soon as it is all done with. Even though I am having another boy, I wanted to use new colors and bedding because I know so many of his things will be hand me downs. We are getting so excited about his arrival. My C-section is scheduled for March 12th 7:30 am. I am trying to soak up this time with Keller Cade and not let it pass me by. I think the Monday before Graham arrives, Keller and I are going to have a date day and do all the things we loved to do together and have a little stroll down memory lane. I am starting to grieve a bit it not just being him but I know adding another bundle will be even better but I have to grieve what has been.
James and I had a great Valentines day/babymoon weekend. Friday night my parents kept Keller so we painted G's room and went on a little date. Then Saturday morning we drove to Austin for some of our besties birthdays at a quaint brunch place. Then we spend the afternoon in Austin and bought some goodies for baby boy. Then Saturday night we made fondue at home and watched a movie. But my favorite part of the entire weekend was our drive to Austin- we recounted our entire relationship beginning with our friendship. What a beautiful story we have and it ignited something fresh in my heart for my husband who I knew 7 years ago was amazing but the depth to which I know and experience with him now everyday is incomparable. I cannot believe I got him and I really mean that. He is the love of my life and I feel so hopeful and excited about our future together.
Other than that not as much has been going on. My mom turned 60 yesterday and is more beautiful and vivacious than ever.
On a heavier note, James has been out of work for over a month now. We have known since before Christmas and he has been diligently looking for a job and has had some good leads but nothing has happened just yet. It seems like such crappy timing and there have been many moments of disappointment and fear but God is doing something deeper in the both of us. And he is giving us our testimony that we can recount to our boys of how faithful God has always been to take care of our needs. I believe in my husband but my trust is in the Lord. Please keep us in your prayers and believe with us for something magnificent.
